Beach Cleanups

Help Keep our Beaches Healthy and Thriving

Surfrider's Beach Cleanup initiative passionately safeguards our pristine coastlines with the help of dedicated volunteers. We organize regular cleanups to keep beaches vibrant and free of pollutants, involving the community in this crucial effort. Together, we drive meaningful environmental change, nurturing a culture of stewardship for our planet. Join our committed volunteers in this important mission to preserve our precious marine habitats.

We're absolutely thrilled to announce the smashing success of our July 5th, 2024 clean-up extravaganza! A massive high-five to the incredible volunteers who swooped in from every corner of the state to sweep away an astounding 130,000 pounds of beach trash. A round of applause for our fantastic partners—WA State Parks, WA Coastsavers, Defenders of the Coast, and the City of Ocean Shores—for their phenomenal support. This victory not only highlights our steadfast commitment but also celebrates the amazing teamwork with our partners in this epic mission.
