Chapter Meeting
Join us for our Chapter Meeting on Thursday, June 5, from 5:30 pm to 7 pm at the Ocean Shores Public Library. Get the latest chapter updates, explore volunteer opportunities, and hear from Dr. Ian Miller of Washington Sea Grant about coastal erosion. This presentation is especially relevant given the erosion at Damon Point and Oyhut Bay.
Dr. Miller collaborates with coastal communities and public agencies in Washington State to enhance their ability to handle coastal hazards like tsunamis, erosion, and flooding due to climate change. He offers tools such as outreach, coordination, research, and helps secure funding and expertise needed by these communities.
