2025 Washington Legislation

The introduction of bills has led to a wonderful wave of hearings! This is fantastic because it shows that our bills are moving forward! For more information on these bills and other legislative priorities, be sure to check out our legislative landing page. If you can spare a few minutes to log in to Pro THRICE before February 4th, that would be awesome! Our priority bills have scheduled hearings: the Sewage Spill Right to Know bill has two (one in the House and one in the Senate), and the Bull Kelp is also being heard in the House. The deadline is one hour before the hearings, so why wait?

Ocean Friendly Restaurants

The Wandering Goose is now a Ocean Friendly Restaurant

The Wandering Goose, situated in the historic Tokeland Hotel in Washington, serves Southern-inspired cuisine that combines both traditional and innovative flavors. As a plastic-free establishment, it regularly offers vegetarian and vegan options. All seafood served is classified as ‘Best Choice’ or ‘Good Alternative’ by Seafood Watch, or no seafood is served at all. The restaurant emphasizes sustainability and has partnered with the Surfrider Ocean Friendly restaurant program to promote eco-friendly practices alongside Rediviva Restaurant in Aberdeen.

Climate Action Program

Our Climate Action Program is at the forefront of safeguarding our coastlines against the effects of climate change. With the arrival of Washington's King Tide Season our infrastructure and ecosystems face threats from increasing sea levels and storm surges.
