July 5th, The Dirtiest Beach Day of the Year
Every year, July 5th is known as the day when America's beaches are at their most polluted. Once the fireworks have faded and the Independence Day festivities are over, our shores are often left strewn with litter. This poses a threat to marine life and can also put beach visitors in danger. Fortunately, the ocean has allies who are prepared to lend a hand. Become a part of Surfrider history – join us as we strive to make 2024 our most significant day of cleanups yet!
